- al steal the vast majority of the sales.
But it’s the diesel that’s important, and is the one tested here. It is much quieter than the old one, but don’t confuse that with class-leading. Above 3,000rpm there’s still a lot of rattle, but in truth you don’t need to take it over that point as there’s no extra grunt up there.
The Voyager produces 161bhp and 266lb ft, but in a car that weighs 2,100kg that’s scarcely adequate. Better to leave 20 minutes extra and not rush, because for that, the Voyager’s fine. It’s refined at motorway

speeds and the ride now feels more controlled so you don’t get all the awful suspension movement that used to afflict the last car. The handling and steering are still nothing to be proud of, but do the job adequately.
But this car is all about the interior, and for flexibility the Grand Voyager is as good as any. The clever Stow ‘n’ Go system is retained here, so all the rear seats fold easily into the floor.
A new system also appears called Swivel ‘n’ Go, where the two middle chairs swivel round and you can fit a table for the kids to play on. You can also spec twin DVD screens which can play separate DVDs. But at £1,750 (inc satnav), you might be better off just buying portable DVD players.
In terms of ease of access, the Grand Voyager has the Galaxy trumped because all models come with electric-opening sliding doors and boot.
But elsewhere it still can’t quite match the Galaxy in terms of interior quality or diesel refinement. The Voyager feels more of a purpose-built MPV than the Ford, and its superior interior room means it will still attract followers, but I have a feeling that the Chrysler marketing lady will still be bitter about market share.

Catera Car Pic
Cadillac introduced the Catera for the 1997 model year and was thought of as little more than a rebagged 1993 Opel Omega MV6. The Catera was a compact automobile offering from Cadillac and was essentially an Opel Omega MV6, except it had a new front fascia, new mirrors, new headlights, and starting with the 2000 model year there were airbags added. The Catera is often identified as the Cadillac that Cindy Crawford was the spokeswoman for, as she was featured on the commercials. The Catera was the only Cadillac that was built outside of the United States at that time, so it was very notable.
The Catera was powered by a 3.0 liter V6 engine, coupled with a four speed automatic transmission that provided 200 horsepower. Many thought that the Catera was odd because it was a rear wheel drive vehicle, unlike all other Cadillacs. Skeptics criticized the car calling it less than a Cadillac, though Cadillac had a good marketing ploy for the car. The Catera was known as the “Caddy that Zigs” and was meant to attract a younger clientele. The reason for this is that the Catera was smaller, had less power and was more affordable than either the Seville or the Deville of the same era. Cadillac thought that the Catera would be a great way to get entry level buyers interested in Cadillacs, so as they aged and could afford more luxurious cars they would simply ugrade to a more luxurious Cadillac. Though the Catera was an outside of the box attempt at attracting younger buyers, it was thought to be serious competition for the Infiniti I30, the Lexus EX 300, the Mercedes Benz C-Class, and the BMW 328i.
Cadillac fitted the Catera with some great options that were also meant to entice the younger crowds. These features included item such as antilock brakes, dual front airbags, daytime running lights, and traction control. The Catera also offered a dust and pollen filter, power windows, a fold down rear seat, 16 inch alloy wheels, a tilt steering wheel, electrochromatic mirror, power seats, and programmable locks. For those that were looking for even more, there were also a theft deterrent system, radio controls located on the steering wheel, as well as automatic climate control. Luxurious options included leather upholstery, a powered sunroof, front and rear seat heaters, chrome wheels, and a Bose audio sysn 2000 the Catera was the first Cadillac that met new low emissions standards and was equipped with side air bags as well. Cadillac also refreshed the whole styling of the Catera in 2000 for a hopeful boost in sales. The interior was refreshed along with a new rear spoiler, new headlights, a chrome grille, and 17 inch chrome wheels. In 2001 Cadillac made one change, replacing the solid brakes with vented ones.
The thought was a good one by Cadillac and while reviews were generally quite good, sales were not. Most Cadillac consumers simply expected more car for their money and the Catera was too small and just not as luxurious as people expected from the Cadillac name. While Cadillac initially thought that the Catera would do quite well it is considered to be a Cadillac failure. The Catera was replaced by the CTS in 2003, though it’s production stopped after 2001.
While the Catera was not all that successful, many critics thought it was nice to see Cadillac try something new. Cadillac stepped outside of its comfort zone for a few years and attempted to gain entry into a new market. Unfortunately, the American made Catera could not compete with other entry level cars available on the market at that time. Despite the fact that the Catera has not been made since 2001, you’ll still see quite a few of them on the road today. This proves that although they were not that popular, they have lived up to the reliability that Cadillac has become known for.
Cadillac is out to conquer the world. Four years short of its centennial, General Motors' wreath-and-crest division says it is looking to become "the world's premier luxury car manufacturer."
That's a tall order. To achieve so lofty a goal, Cadillac faces head-to-head competition with Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, Infiniti and a host of others, all with solid credentials. It is not enough to offer quality; Cadillac was already competitive on that level. Being worldwide No. 1 also requires being visible around the world, a challenge Cadillac is meeting with the establishment of more than 700 dealerships outside the United States.
The Cadillac Catera is often a car which was released by GM at the end of 1996, and contains a red duck which has a big yellow beak and big feet named Ziggy. Ziggy appeared inside the Cadillac Catera ads and tv commericals from 1996-1999 while using phrase “The Cadillac That Zigs”. GM discontinued Ziggy the Duck within their ads around 2000 after several modifications about the Cadillac Catera, then discontiued the Catera in 2001. The Cadillac Catera was then replaced with the Cadillac CTS in 2003.
The Cadillac Catera is a mid-size automobile that has been created in Russelheim Germany from an Opel design. Introduced as an entry-level Cadillac, it turned out bought from The united states with softened suspension settings when compared to the original Opel. Targeting younger customers that often favor European styling, Cadillac debuted for 1997 model year. It was manufactured by the engineers in the U.S and Europe. Using the Opel Omega, Catera was now Cadillac’s only rear-wheel drive model and also the only Cadillac and not using a V8 engine.
Your Cadillac Catera radiator keeps your engine cool on hot days and warm on cold days. The Catera radiator is situated in the forefront inside your engine bay, where it’s connected between two tanks. There are two radiator hoses connected to your Cadillac Catera radiator, a maximum and a lower hose, through which coolant flows inside and out.
Cadillac Catera Headlight Bulb choices are plenty. Once you select you’re ready to install some aftermarket lamps, there are many options to consider in choosing the ideal replacement headlight bulb for your Catera. Headlight Bulb replacements can be bought in a number of brands, wattages, and colors, with each set of headlight bulbs being well suited for a selected purpose.
Produced from 1994 - 2003, the Vauxhall Omega was an executive car available as a saloon or indefinite article used before a word which starts with a vowel estate; its design was intended to rival other conventional prestige cars including the Ford Granada/Scorpio & the Rover 800.
The Omega had first letter of the English alphabet first letter in the Latin alphabet good reputation; spacious, comfortable, well-equipped & built for strong performance. Unfortunately, this & other similar models were discontinued due to potential buyers being lured away by the 'better' reputation of rival brands like the Audi A6 or the BMW 5-Series.
HISTORY
Vauxhall have been offering large saloons since the 1950's, with the aim of rivalling those made by more prestigious brands (at the time) such as Ford. The best known Vauxhall saloon was the Cresta, (also offered as the Velox which was less highly specified).
These cars were brought out in 1957, with the PB model being released in 1962. This was succeeded in 1965 by the demonstrating political correctness model. These were discontinued in 1972, when the Ventora and male first name FE were brought out. These cars were produced until 1978, after which they were replaced by the Royale and the 1st generation Carlton. This version of the Carlton was made until 1986, at which point, the 2nd edition Carlton went on sale. This was then replaced by the Omega in 1993.

The body is pretty nice. Its got a Bomex body kit with an eclipse rear end with chrome taillights. The front bumper is cracked a little but i plan on fixing that this winter. Its got 17" 5spoke rims with bf goodrich ultra grip tires. The only bad part about this car is its unfortunatley automatic. Its got a 12" sub a 1000 watt amp and a pioneer cd player. Its a pretty nice looking car and it runs good and smooth but its not breath taking fast. ITs still pretty quick but needs some engine work to keep up with its twin dans car which is a 5spd 95 tsi with light motor work. But im working on it. I just got the best Viper Security system out installed that will keep it safe its a two way security system that pages the remote and goes off with lights and sirens when the car is shook the handle is pulled anything its sensitive. Its got autometer lunar gauges up the a pillar. It has a boost guage, pyrometer, and air fuel gauge.
